Smiths Carburettor parts For Sale
A limited number of brass jets have been made for the 1920s Smiths Carburettor, as fitted to the 21hp Lanchester and other large cars. They are perfect copies and are drilled to suit the original sizes, as far as anyone can tell. Each of the jets is stamped with its size, as per original. Sizes remaining are : 35, 40, 45, 55 and 65.
The charge is £10 each jet and this includes UK postage.

This unique 1935 Lanchester is the 32hp model, with the Straight-8 overhead-valve engine. It has a very low mileage and has been in the same extended family since new. The original coachwork, as shown, is by Vanden Plas and is in superb condition. In fact, the whole car is in glorious condition and won a trophy at the famous Pebble Beach show in U.S.A.
This exquisite Lanchester is only for the most discerning and serious purchaser, who wishes to make a substantial investment in the very best of vintage automobiles. This sale represents one of those rare occasions when an exotic car comes up for sale, and is priced accordingly.

Lanchester 18 Sports-Saloon for sale.
Believed to be one of only 2 produced, the other was built for King George V1. Coachwork by Lanchester, in aluminium with steel mudguards. Designed in the Art Deco style, with original, all-leather interior. Glorious, large Webasto sun-roof. Walnut-burr double dash-board. Re-wired with original trafficators + flashing indicators and electric reserve petrol pump. Twin horns. All in lovely condition for 75 year old car. Fitted with 2 1/2 litre, 6-cylinder engine with aluminium cylinder head, pre-select gearbox + complete original spare engine and gearbox. Excellent tyres, suspension, steering etc. Chassis painted.

This unique, 1953 Lanchester 14 is fitted with a more modern Royale 2+2 body, creating this eye-catching sports coupe. The car retains its pre-select gearbox and fluid flywheel, and the original 2-litre engine has been replaced by the contemporary, 6-cylinder, 2.5 litre, Daimler version, built in the same works. This very original car has recently been sold to a vintage car enthusiast in Herefordshire, the county where the Lanchester was first registered. Work is already under way and it will be good to see the car at rallies again.
This unique Lanchester is one of only three 38hp Lanchesters remaining. This one has unique coachwork by Lanchester and is a Detachable-Roof Limousine. The car transforms from an open-drive limousine into a touring car. It has been in one family's possession for many years. It was owned originally by The Maharajah of Rewa. It is nowned by an enthusiast in Essex, who plans to use the car regularly .
